Catherine ( Cathy ) Michelle Pohl ( Hufford ) passed away unexpectedly on October 11, 2024 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital. Cathy was born in Rockledge, FL on February 12, 1964. At the age of 5, her family moved to Muncie, IN.

Cathy attended Muncie Community Schools and graduated from Muncie Central in 1982. After high school, Cathy was manager of Burger King and Burger Chef. She later went on to work at Hills Dept. store and eventually Ball Memorial Hospital. Cathy married Brion Pohl in August 1984, and had 2 beautiful children. They moved to Union City, IN in 1998. Cathy worked as a bartender at Fast Eddies while they were in Union City. In 2007, they moved back to Muncie, where they still reside to this day. Cathy enjoyed working in the yard, planting flowers, baking, taking care of all of their pets, spending time with her children, and being a mams to her one and only grandchild, Callie Jo. In 2018, Cathy started traveling full time with her husband Brion while he was away for work.

Cathy was a true animal lover and adored her pets. She leaves behind her 2 precious labs, Bennington Richard and Gunner Eugene. Cathy is survived by her husband of 40 years Brion, daughter Samantha (Alec) Rowe, granddaughter Callie Jo Rowe, Roger Pratt (Uncle), Judy Pohl (Mother in law), Lisa Schmitt (Best Friend), and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Cathy is preceded in death by her son, Dustin Richard Eugene Pohl, parents Richard and Marolyn Hufford, sister Debbie Constant and nephews, Timothy and Jay.

Funeral services will be held at Parson Mortuary on Friday, October 18, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Tomlinson Cemetery.
