Cathy Jean Drown, 66, of Muncie, Indiana passed away on November 19, 2024. She was born on August 25, 1958, in Muncie, Indiana to Robert and Levl (Lilly) Flowers.

She found great delight in playing games on her tablet, solving crosswords, and immersing herself in captivating stories of Danielle Steele novels. The love for her family was boundless, Cathy was selfless, kind, and caring. She always put others before herself, you would leave every conversation with her with a smile. Cathy's presence enriched the lives of those who knew her, leaving behind treasured memories of her kindness, strength, and her love for elephants.  

Cathy is survived by her husband Michael Drown of 30 years, her sons; Daniel (Brittany) Brown and Michael Jo Drown, grandchildren; Dakota, and Caden Brown, and Trent Hicks, along with nieces, nephews and lots of friends.  

She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Benny Brown Jr., and her sister, Cindy Jo Flowers. 

A memorial service will be held at Parson Mortuary on December 14, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. until service time.
