Charles J. Reel, Jr.

Charles J. Reel, Jr.   passed away at his residence following an extended illness on Saturday, April 17, 2021.  He was born on July 20, 1957 in Muncie the son of Charles J. Reel, Sr. and Mary Lou (Wooten) Reel-Lykins.

Mr. Reel attended Muncie Community Schools and later became a self-employed mechanic for several years along with various other odd jobs through out the Muncie and Anderson areas.  He really enjoyed working on car and received a lot of his experience from having helped his dad working on race cars.  Mr. Reel also worked on motorcycles and loved music and fishing as well.

Survivors include his fiancé of 18 years Linda (Bowling ) Lewis, Anderson; four daughters, Amy, Tereasa , Sunshine Lewis, Muncie and Melanie Lewis, Muncie ; one son,               ; three grandchildren, Kristal Thrasher, Chase Thrasher and Danny Lewis all of Muncie; three great grandchildren, Autumn Thrasher, Aria Lewis and Kyra Lewis;  three brothers, Jeff Reel (Karen), Anderson, Monto Garringer, Jeremy Irwin ; three sisters, Misty Hartman and Christy Massey and Liz Smith; Special cousins, Bill Swift, Doyle Valentine, Dinky Buck and Bob Reel; two nieces and two nephews, Brandy, Stephanie and Jeffrey Reel, Jr and Marion Reel; one Aunt, Jane Crome (Bruce).

He is preceded in death by his parents; two aunts, Thelma Bright and Ann Buck.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 22, 2021, 1:00 P.M. at the Parson Mortuary with Pastor Jerry Miller officiating.  Cremation will take place following services.    Parson Mortuary Cremation Center is entrusted with these arrangements.

Friends may call at the Parson Mortuary on Thursday, April 22, 2021, from 12:00 P.M.  until time of service.
