Charles David Smith, 85, of Muncie, Indiana passed away on March 13, 2024. He was born on October 1, 1938, in Gaston, Indiana to Sarah (Thomas) Smith.

Charles liked basketball, the Green Bays Packers, Atlanta Braves, and Purdue Boiling Makers. He loved his family and taking car rides. 

Charles is survived by his children Pamela K. Smith, Charles Smith II, grandson David Smith III, Ms. Kitty, and several nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Linda K. Smith, daughter Debra Sue Smith, and his in-laws. 

Donations can be made to the Muncie Mission and Hillcroft Services in place of flowers. 

Funeral services will be at Parson Mortuary on Thursday, March 21, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be at Elm Ridge Cemetery.
