Charles E. (Jr.) Wilson

Charles E. Wilson Jr. joined his parents Charles E. Wilson Sr. and Kathryn L. Wilson in heaven on Thursday, November 9, 2023. Charles (Chuck) was born in Muncie, IN on June 5, 1954.

He was a man of great integrity, respect, compassion, and overwhelming love for his family, friends, and clients. Anyone who was fortunate to know "Chuck" lived blessed lives because of it. He was a faithful servant of Jesus and the family finds comfort in the fact that we know where he now resides.

Chuck was an entrepreneur who created and owned many companies throughout his life and always thinking about the next venture. He was the owner/operator of Wilson Hearing Center from 1986-2018. Where he worked side by side with his precious sister Karen Massie and trusted son-in-law Stuart (Stuey) Robinson until his retirement when Stuey took over the helm carrying Chuck's legacy. Helping to improve people's lives was his passion. Taking mission trips offering the gift of hearing was some of his proudest moments. Chuck received numerous awards over the years from the Starkey Hearing Corporation for his ethics and commitment to improving the lives of his clients, whom he loved and treated as family, which included the Top Hearing Company in the state of Indiana. He was also inducted into the Starkey Hall of Fame. 

He was also the owner of Wilson Custom Homes where he worked alongside his son Eric Wilson constructing many award-winning homes throughout the years. 

He was also the owner/operator of Wilson's BK Rootbeer with his son Nathan Wilson and the owner of American Cash Advance along with his daughter Kristie Robinson.

Chuck married his beautiful wife of 53 years, Tonia Rose Coleman at the age of 17. He always referred to her as "my girl" and she will forever be his girl. They built a wonderful life together raising 3 children. Kristie (Stuart) Robinson, Eric E. Wilson, and Nathan (Leslie) Wilson. 7 beautiful grandchildren, Luke Wilson, Logan and Landon Robinson, Brayden, Garett, Trace, and Graycie Wilson along with one fabulous great-grandchild Lennon Louise Robinson.

Surviving are also his siblings Karen (Larry) Massie, Dan Wilson, Beth (Bruce) Lankford, Jeff (Carol) Wilson, Angie Byrd. Brothers-in-law Jody Barlow, Terry (Connie) Burns, and Kevin Coleman, numerous nieces and nephews, and his life-long best friends, Ty (Flor) Jones and Danny King.

His celebration of a beautifully lived life will take place Saturday, November 18, 2023 at Parson Mortuary at 1:00 p.m. Visitation will begin at 11:00 until time for service.
