Charles “Chuck” A. Huber, Jr. 68, passed away early Saturday morning, April 30, 2022 at the Indiana University Health Ball Memorial Hospital following an extended illness. He was born on May 27, 1953 in Muncie the son of Charles Allen and Allie Mae (Duckworth) Huber, Sr.
Charles graduated from Muncie Central High School in 1972 and later enlisted in the U.S. Army having been trained as a Tank Commander. Later, he became a truck driver having served several trucking firms through out the State of Indiana. He was a former member of a Masonic Lodge and a national truck driving association.
Survivors include two daughters, Amy Brame (Brian), Kenly, NC and Leslie Mitchell, William, Wilmington, NC; five grandchildren, Jennifer, Molly, Jackson, Joshua and Brittney; His mother, Allie Mae Huber, Muncie; one brother, Anthony “Tony” Huber (Melinda), Hartford City; sister, Jeanette “Jenny” Sumwalt (Denny), Farmland; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Allen Huber, Sr., in 2014.
Cremation has been chosen with a private family burial of cremated remains Mt. Tabor Cemetery at a later date. Parson Mortuary Cremation Center is entrusted with these arrangements.
