Charlotte Goodhew Moore passed away November 27, 2024. She was born on April 16, 1942 to Ray and Lavon Goodhew. 

Charlotte graduated from Ridgeville High School in 1960, and soon married the love of her life Gary Moore. Charlotte and Gary were married for 64 years, and had three boys, Gary Moore (Deceased), Timothy Moore (Jannie), and Michael Moore (Amanda). Charlotte had three grandchildren, Tyler, Jennifer, and Michael that she loved spending time with.

Charlotte and Gary moved to Selma where she was a stay-at-home mom for her two boys. As the boys got older, she began working at Parker Health Care as a nurse's assistant, and later was the activity director. Upon retiring in 1996, she loved spending her time volunteering to help others including the Albany Nursing Home, Parker Food Pantry, as well as taking care of people in their homes. Charlotte spent many hours in her flower garden, reading and enjoying time with her friends and family. She and Gary vacationed at a cabin in Brown County, fishing and enjoying nature. Charlotte loved the Lord and was not afraid to die, for she knew she would be with him in Heaven. 

Charlotte is survived, by her husband Gary, her sons Timothy (Jannie) and Micheal (Amanda), and her three grandchildren Tyler, Jennifer, and Michael Moore, one brother, John Goodhew, three sister-in-laws, Pauline Freeman, Patty Kelso, and Evelyn Goss.  

Charlotte is preceded in death by her mother and father, one son Gary Moore II, brothers, Wayne and Joe Goodhew, half-brother, Charles Goodhew, sister, Rita Lowrance, half-sister Dorthy. 

A Celebration of life will be held at Parson Mortuary on Friday, December 6, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. until service time at 4:00 p.m. 

 In lieu of flowers, all contributions can be made to St. Jude.
