Cheryl Ann Justice, 77, passed away on September 27, 2025, at Silver Birch Assisted Living in Muncie, Indiana. Chery was born on September 29, 1947, the daughter of Earl and Betty (Chomel) Wison, in Muncie, Indiana.
Cheryl graduated from Southside High School in 1965. Cheryl worked as a secretary and retired from Crookston Roofing and Construction. Cheryl loved watching the Colts play; she never missed a game. Nothing gave her more joy than spending time with family and friends—especially her great-grandchildren. She was a band mom during her son’s school days. The kids she mentored in those days loved her so much that they checked on her for years after they graduated.
Cheryl was a dedicated mother, grandmother, and friend. She was dedicated right down to her hairstylist, Dawn, whom she went to religiously for over 40 years. She also shared great lifelong friendships with Connie and Rebecca. She was loved by everyone who knew her. Cheryl was a fun, loving comedian, and you could often find her teasing her family and friends. She always had a smile on her face, and recently gave her life to the Lord, our Savior.
Left to cherish her memory are her only son, Steven (Tonya) Taylor. Two sisters: Lynn Mosier and Cindy Palmer. Grandchildren: Amber (Donald) Jones, Steven Austin Taylor, Nathaniel Taylor, Tyler (Kyndra) Cochran, and her Great-Grandchildren: Maycee Grasse, Teegan Jones, Maycin Grasse, Clay Cochran, Lachlynn Jones, and Cain Cochran.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Scott Wilson.
Cheryl will be cremated and a memorial dinner will be held at a later date.
