Chiquita R. (Bell) Burger

Chiquita R. Burger, 58, went to be with her Savior and Lord Friday afternoon, September 4, 2020 at the Waters Edge Health Care Center following a brief illness surrounded by her family.  She was born on November 1, 1961 in Muncie the daughter of Billy E. and Norma Jean (Brown) Bell.

Chiquita graduated from Muncie Community Schools in 1980 and later worked as a Waitress for several restaurants through out Delaware County and also as a Secretary for North West Salvage for several years.  She was very people oriented and never met a stranger.  She especially enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and extended family.

Survivors include 2 daughters, Cynthia Jett (John), Muncie and Shannon Bishop, Shelbyville; 5 grandchildren, Jayden and Calynn Jett, both of Muncie , and Olivia, Breona and Braden Bishop of Shelbyville; 1 sister, Billi Bonnell (Robert), Muncie; 1 niece, Brandace Schubert (Todd), Indianapolis; 2 nephews, Brendon Wood, Muncie and Sgt 1Class Carl Lephart III, Oklahoma.

She is preceded in death by her parents; 1 sister, Vicki Lephart.

Cremation is being done.  The family will have a private gathering of friends and family at a later date.
