Claude Richard Cook, 80, of Muncie, Indiana passed away on November 21, 2024. He was born on June 20, 1944, in Muncie, Indiana to Vernon and Florence (Clouse) Cook.
Claude was a man of great talent and even greater heart. Known for his skillful hands, he had a gift for turning thrifted treasures from antique shops into unique creations, including beautifully crafted wind chimes. In his younger years, Claude found joy on the open road riding his motorcycle and the serenity of fishing. He was a graduate of Muncie Central High School and dedicated 30 years of service at IMI as a certified diesel mechanic, he was also a lifelong Teamster. Above all, he was a devoted family man who cherished every moment spent with his grandchildren, bringing joy and warmth to those around him. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
Claude is survived by his sons; Richard Cook (Cathy), Greg Cook, grandchildren; Cameron and, Carter Cook, brother Paul Cook, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Beverly Cook, brother; Morton (Sonny) Cook.
Funeral services will be held at Parson Mortuary on Wednesday, November 27, 2024. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am until service time at 12:00 pm. Burial will follow at Tomlinson Cemetery.
