Crystal Dawn Pilcher

Crystal Dawn Pilcher, 53, a longtime Muncie, IN resident, passed away on November 7, 2024.

A cherished friend, loving mother, caring daughter, and recent proud grandmother, Crystal was a person who touched many lives.

Crystal was born November 10, 1970, in Pueblo, Colorado, and adopted by George and Jean Pilcher of Boulder.  She is survived by her mother Jean Pilcher, her brother Ian Pilcher, her sister-in-law Maria Pilcher, her niece Isabela Pilcher and nephew Alvaro Pilcher all of Carrollton, TX.  Other survivors include her daughter Aerial Yarberry, son-in-law CJ Yarberry, and granddaughter Ashtria Dawn Yarberry.  She was preceded in death by her father George William Pilcher.

After graduation from Delta High School, Crystal attended Purdue before finishing her college education at Ball State in graphics arts management.  She worked at various print shops and managed fast-food franchises.

Crystal enjoyed shooting pool in her free time.  She participated in several leagues over the years.  While she spent most of her adult years in Muncie, she did move to Texas in the mid-teens to live with her brother’s family.  After that, she returned to the Muncie and New Castle area.

The family will be having a celebration of life on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at 6:00 PM, at River of Life Church, 5350 W. Bethel Ave, Muncie, Indiana.
