Angels arrived on Friday, April 18, 2025, and took our beloved Daisy Catherine Sherfy to join family and friends in heaven.  Daisy was 89 years old, born in Carlton, Kentucky, on May 20, 1935, to the late Delbert Stephen Warford and Clara Katherine Shreves (Knox).

Throughout her life Daisy enjoyed being a homemaker, gardening, bowling, many different crafts and cake decorating. She had many attributes but taking care of her family is what she enjoyed the most. 

Daisy will be greatly missed by her Husband of 64 years, James Lee Sherfy of Muncie, Indiana. Daughters: Nancy (Rex) Cooksey of Muncie, Indiana, and Catherine (Wayne Brookes) Cooper of Columbus, Indiana. Grandchildren: Kimberley (Tyler) Wright of Louisville, Kentucky, Cory (Jasmine) Cooper of Columbus, Indiana, Christopher Cooper of Indianapolis, Indiana, Vanessa Brookes of Columbus, Indiana, and Jackson Brookes of Columbus, Indiana. Great-Grandchildren: Branson Dalton of Muncie, Indiana, Bryant Dalton of Muncie, Indiana, Gabriella Cooksey of Muncie, Indiana, and Derek Cooper of Columbus, Indiana.  Sisters: Nancy Dutton of Port Charlotte, Florida, and Ollie Jo Smith of Muncie, Indiana. Brother-in-Laws: Gene (Janie) Sherfy of Muncie, Indiana, Jack Sherfy of San Diego, California, and Frank (Linda) Sherfy of Oracle, Arizona. She was very loved and will be missed by many cousins, Nieces, Nephews, and friends.

Daisy was preceded in death by her parents; Delbert Warford, Clara Shreves (Knox), Stepfather; Theodore Shreves, Brother; Stephen Warford, Brother-in-law; Delray Sherfy, Sister-in-law; Janice Sherfy, Granddaughter: Kylie Cooksey, as well as maternal and paternal Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, and Nephews.

A celebration of Life for Daisy will be held on July 26, 2025, in Muncie, Indiana. The time and place will be announced at a later date.
