Deborah Sue (Lykins) Gibson

Deborah Sue Lykins) Gibson, 66, passed away early Tuesday evening, March 30, 2021, at the Indiana University Health Methodist Hospital following an extended illness.  She was born on January 10, 1955 in Muncie the daughter of Bert and Helen (          ) Lykins.

Deborah graduated from Muncie Central High School in 1973 and later married the love of her life, Gregory W. Gibson on August 14, 1983 and he survives.  Mrs. Gibson had worked in Quality Control for Anchor Hocking Glass now known as Ardaugh Group for 46 years prior to her retirement in 2015.  Mrs. Gibson was a member of the United Glass Workers Union and enjoyed playing Bingo and doing Adult Coloring projects electronically.

Besides her husband of 37 years, Gregory, she is survived by one son, Josh Gibson, Selma.

She is preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Joyce, one brother Delbert and an infant niece.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 6, 2021, 1:00 P.M.  at the Parson Mortuary with Pastor James Ballenger officiating.  Burial will follow at the Tomlinson Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Parson Mortuary on Tuesday, April 6, 2021, from 11:00 A.M.  until time of service.
