Deborah (Debbie) Kay Todd 66 


Was born on October 27, 1958, to Dorothy and Bill Knigga. Debbie passed at home on October 2, 2025, surrounded by loved ones after a hard-fought battle with cancer.  


Debbie retired from the YMCA of Muncie after years of hard work and dedication. Debbie loved going to her camper down south in the summer, going to Florida in the winter, spending time with loved ones hiking, boating, and laughing, attending church, and working for the YMCA. 


Debbie was survived by her husband, Arthur Todd, of 34 years. Her children Josh (wife Cyndi) Todd, Amber Todd, Matt Todd, Jaron Todd, and Toni (husband Levi) Lawson. Her grandchildren Kaylee (husband Dakota) Cox, Kayled (wife Elissa) Leedom, Allie Todd, Jaylee Mastin, Avah Haffener, Aric Lucy, Gavin Todd, Addison Todd, Audrey Todd, Eli Lawson, and Emmi Lawson. Six great-grandchildren and her sisters Dianne (husband Brian) Hoffman, and her sister and built-in best friend Dena Steiner. Mother-in-Law Patsy Todd, Art's siblings, Robert Todd Jr, Kathy (husband Bo) Shopher, James Colonis, Joe (wife Sharine) Todd, Barbara (husband Mack) Hernly, Richard Hawkins. Several nieces and nephews. 


Debbie was preceded in death by her parents, Dorothy and Bill Knigga, father-in-law Joe Todd,  brother-in-laws Bill Steiner and Mark Todd, and sister-in-law Linda Hawkins. 


Special thanks to the oncology department and hospice for taking such great care of her during a very difficult time. 


Debbie's viewing for family and friends will be Monday, October 13, 2025, at True Light Baptist Church from 9am-12pm with services to follow.
