Deborah Kay Tucker, 75, of Muncie, Indiana passed away on May 9, 2024, with family by her side. She was born on June 24, 1948, in Muncie, Indiana to Velvia and Margaret (Vest) Phillips.

Deborah graduated from Muncie Central High School in 1966. She worked at the Muncie Public Library for 37 years. Deborah lived most of her life in Muncie, but she loved her winter home in Florida. She enjoyed reading, fishing, and gardening.

Deborah is survived by her husband Robert E. Tucker, her brother Leroy Phillips, her stepsister Ann (Gary) Zook, her stepbrother Tom (Christine) McFadden, her stepson Troy (Jerri) Tucker, her stepdaughter Tracy (Scott) Krueger, and several nieces, nephews, and step-grandchildren.

Deborah was preceded in death by her parents Velvia and Margaret Phillips, her stepmother Joann Phillips, and her sister-in-law Sandy Phillips.

The family thanks everyone for their condolences and prayers. Cremation arrangements have been made with Parson Mortuary and Cremation Center, and her inurnment will be at Elm Ridge Memorial Park.
