Deborah Kaye Upson, 71, of Muncie, Indiana, passed away on November 14, 2025. She was born on November 12, 1954, in Muncie, Indiana, to Billie Ray and Mary (Smith) Morrison.

Deborah was a 1973 graduate of Wapahani High School. She enjoyed relaxing with her favorite television shows — Hell’s Kitchen, Survivor, America’s Got Talent, reality TV, Ozark, and The Andy Griffith Show. She loved playing cards and had a wonderful sense of humor. A dedicated and hardworking woman, Deborah spent more than 24 years at Meijer, where she made countless friends through her kindness, wit, and warm personality.

Her daughters cherish memories of playing video games with their mom when they were young and watching her show off her sweet dance moves while cleaning the house, moments filled with laughter that they will hold close forever.

Deborah is survived by her daughters, Amber Berry and Kayla Upson (Henry); grandchildren Avery Hildebrand and Kiley Hildebrand; her brother, Greg Morrison (Melissa); and her close cousin, Jimmy Smith, along with several extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Arthur Morrison.

Funeral services will be held at Parson Mortuary on Friday, November 21, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. and continue until the start of the service. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Losantville.
