Debra (Debbie) Ann Parsons, 47, passed away unexpectedly on July 10, 2024, in Muncie, Indiana.  Debbie was born on September 28, 1976, in Honolulu, Hawaii, the daughter of Richard and Eleanor Denis.

Debbie spent most of her childhood in Hawaii until later relocating to Satellite Beach, Florida, where she attended high school.  After high school, Debbie had two children, Angel M. Walsh and Richard F. Walsh Jr, with Richard Walsh in Orlando, Florida. 

Debbie then moved to Muncie, Indiana, with the love of her life and her soulmate, Christopher Parsons.  Upon the many adventures they endured, they never failed to go the extra mile when it came to make the most of their lives together.  From graduating with their G.E.D.s to decorating their first home, they were the ultimate dynamic duo.  Debbie and Chris had their dream wedding on September 27, 2018, surrounded by beloved family and friends in Muncie.

Debbie was outgoing and enjoyed hanging out with the people she loved.  She loved listening to music and enjoying life.  It didn’t take much to make her happy, it was the simplest things in life that mattered to her most.  She was kind hearted and vibrant, always radiating light with every room she entered.  She accepted everyone with open arms, an open heart, and a perpetual smile.  She had an immense passion for family and friends.  She was Amazon’s queen and their number one shopper.  Debbie was a warrior and always remained optimistic no mater what curve balls life decided to throw at her.  She will be remembered for all the heart she shared with family and friends.  Debbie was full o f life and will be missed dearly.

Debbie is survived by her daughter, Angel Walsh, son, Richard Walsh Jr., mother-in-law Marie Parsons, brothers, Brad Hicks (Carri), Adam Wright, and Bobby Parsons III, nieces, Payton (Lane) Lucas, Brooklyn Hicks (Cameron Bennett), Aniyah Wright, nephews, Ethen Parsons, and Chandler Hicks, as well as special friend Eliane (Denny) Schenkel.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Christopher Parsons, mother, Eleanor Denis, father, Richard Denis, brother Joseph Denis and sister, Lisa Denis.

Funeral services will be Thursday, July 25, 2024, at Parson Mortuary, 801 W. Adams, Muncie, Indiana, at 12:00 PM.  Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.  Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory, north of Muncie.  Pastor Rusty Clements will officiate.
