Dolores Moran Obituary

Dolores M. Moran, 89, died Saturday morning at Morrison Woods Health Center, Muncie, Indiana.  She was born January 13, 1931, in North Braddock, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Thomas and Mary Vjlacky Duray.  She attended St. Michaels Catholic School and graduated from Scott High School.  Ms. Moran moved to Muncie with her husband, Edward J. Moran, to whom she had been married 64 years, in 1961.

She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and the Women’s Association of the church.

Surviving besides her husband are two sons, Thomas Moran, (wife Tracie), Scranton, Pennsylvania; and Ronald Moran, (wife, Diane), Wyomissing, Pennsylvania; three grandchildren, Kathryn, Claire and Audrey Moran.  She was preceded in death by her twin sister, Mary Lou Cherry.

Father Eric Underwood will celebrate The Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary Catholic Church in Muncie.  The family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. until the time of mass on Tuesday at the church.  Parson Mortuary and Cremation Center is entrusted with the services.

Burial and final services will be held in Duquesne, Pennsylvania with Maloy-Schleifer Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
