Doris E. Ingram, age 85, of Muncie, Indiana, passed away peacefully on January 3, 2026, at The Woodlands Nursing Home in Muncie.
She was born on September 24, 1940, in Parker City, Indiana, to Harry and Marie (Sidner) Fodrea.
Doris enjoyed playing lottery tickets,especially the 13-player games, doing word searches, and spending time with her beloved family and pets. She was a great dancer and worked as a bartender for over 20 years at David L's Hide Out. Doris was a wonderful mother, caring and loving to the very end, and she especially loved attending big family gatherings. She was truly a bright light in every room she entered.
Doris is survived by her children: Paul McCord, Connie Hardin, Connie Kalley (Chris), Penny Kinder (Mitch), and Jim Ingram; 12 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren, with one on the way; 6 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Albert Ingram Jr.; her son-in-law, Steve Hardin; her brother, Bill Fodrea; her sister, Phyllis Hovis; and two great-great-grandchildren.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at The Woodlands Nursing Home for the wonderful care they provided Doris during her time there. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.
