Doyle Vaughn, 79, passed away on October 12, 2024, at his home in Muncie, Indiana, surrounded by his loving family.  Doyle was born in Stearns, Kentucky, the son of Sherman and Elva Vaughn, on February 8, 1945.

Doyle worked at several places in the Muncie area, before eventually finding his place at City Machine Tool and Die, working as a fork lift operator.  Doyle worked at City Machine for over twenty-seven years before retiring.

Survivors include his wife of fifty-nine years, Wilma Vaughn, son, Lester Vaughn, daughter Jamie Vaughn, grandsons, Dustin, Brian, and Weston, great grandchildren, Addison, Brayden, and Easton.  In addition, he leaves behind his siblings, Jean Shook, Dale Vaughn, Gary Vaughn, and Janet Gregory.

Doyle was preceded in death by his parents, son, Stacy Vaughn, and his in-laws, Earl and Gladys Newport.

Services will be held at Parson Mortuary, 801 W. Adams, Muncie, Indiana, on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at 1:30 PM.  Friends may call on the family from 10:30 AM  to 1:30 PM.  Burial will follow at Tomlinson Cemetery.  Pastor Andy Phipps will officiate.
