Edith “Edie” Lucille Sajdera, 70, of Muncie, completed her journey on May 11, 2026, after an extended illness. She was born on September 16, 1955, in Hammond to Joseph and Maryellen (Gaynor) Sajdera.
Edie earned her associate’s degree from Purdue University Calumet in Hammond. She worked in the retail industry for more than 50 years, serving customers with dedication.
Edie was spunky, artistic, and full of life. She had a deep appreciation for Asian culture and design and built an extensive collection that reflected her passions. She loved animals deeply and was especially devoted to her beloved pets. She is survived by Liam, Finnegan McGee, and Ryan, and found comfort in her final days knowing they all had loving homes.
Edie enjoyed camping, fishing, and spending time outdoors. She cherished time with her friends and had a special gift for turning friends into family.
Funeral services will be held at Parson Mortuary on Monday, May 18, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. and continue until the time of service.
