Ellen Ann (Roberts) Fehrenbach

Ellen A. Fehrenbach, 78, left this life on Friday, November 3, 2023, at her residence following an extended illness.  She was born on November 19, 1944, in Greencastle, Indiana the daughter of Elvis and Gladys (Wynecoop) Roberts.

Ellen married the love of her life, George Edwin Fehrenbach, Sr. on November 4, 1961, in Muncie, Indiana and he preceded her in death in 2022.  Mrs. Fehrenbach worked for Ball Memorial Hospital as a unit secretary on the 9th floor for 30 years before her retirement.  She had enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and crochet work years ago.  Mostly, she treasured being with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren whenever possible.

Survivors include three children, Robin Cooper (William), George Fehrenbach, Jr. (companion- Trula  Moore), and Angela Flowers (Ronnie), all of Muncie; five grandchildren including, Danielle, Angela, Kathy, Tasha, and Nathan; twelve great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; one sister, Judy Gibson, Muncie; two brothers, David Roberts (Linda) and Marion Roberts (Charlene), both of Muncie; several nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband of 60 years, George, she is preceded in death by her parents; one brother, John Roberts, and one brother-in-law, William Gibson.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 10, 2023, at 12:30 P.M. at Parson Mortuary with Pastor Rusty Clements officiating.  Burial will follow at Beech Grove Cemetery.
