Emma Jean (Jeannie) Sterling passed away suddenly on January 2, 2025, at her Muncie Residence. Jeannie was born April 23, 1939, in Overton County Tennessee, The daughter of Andrew Granvell Green and Clarcie Vandela Eldridge Green.

Jeannie was a long-time employee of Indiana Glass. She was also a beautician and most recently worked at Heritage Assisted living in her advanced age. She enjoyed the residents where she worked. 

Jeannie enjoyed fishing, camping and boat rides on her pontoon. She had a kind and loving spirit for everyone.  Jeannie was a faithful Christian and attended church regularly at Memorial Drive Wesleyan Church. She loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Jeannie is survived by her husband of fifty years. David Sterling, sons Bill Adams (Charlene), Mike Adams, Daughters Glenda Bell (Jacques), Teresa Brenner (Mitch),
stepson Terry Sterling, and step daughter Debby Sterling. She also leaves behind 11 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

She was proceeded in death by her parents, her first husband William Eugene Adams Sr. and siblings Leelan Green, Earnest Green and Thelma Townsend.

She also leaves behind her cherished Pomeranians Ginger Ann and Mocha and her 2 kitties Dolly and Missy.

Funeral services will be held at Parson Mortuary 801 W. Adams street, Muncie on Thursday January 9th , 2025. Visiting hours are 12:00 to 1:00. The funeral service starts at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Tomlinson Cemetery.
