Evelyn Joyce (Greene) Walther

Evelyn Joyce (Greene) Walther, 77, passed away Thursday afternoon, November 19, 2020 at the Liberty Village Health Care Center following an extended illness.   She was born on January 24, 1944 in Muncie the daughter of Paul V. and Hazel (Jump) Greene. 

Evelyn attended Muncie Community Schools and later married the love the love of her life, William Walther on August 15, 1987 and he survives.   Mrs. Walther had worked for Fish and Stroe Restaurant in Ft. Wayne and later for a factory in the Huntertown, Indiana area as a Laborer.  She enjoyed fashion, keeping up a nice home, hiking and camping.

Survivors include her three children, Warren Beaty, El Paso, Texas, Michael Beaty, Alexandria, Virginia and Cara Hoel (James, Parker City; three grandchildren, Warren Benjamin Beaty, Jr., Taylor and Chandler Hoel; one brother, Herbert Greene, Muncie; two sisters, Loretta Fogle, Muncie and Linda Biery, Muncie; several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Paul (Tink) Greene.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 24, 2020, 1:00 P.M. at the Parson Mortuary Cremation Center with Pastor Rick Bowen officiating.  Burial will follow at the Tomlinson Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Parson Mortuary Cremation Center on Tuesday, November 24, 2020, from 12:00 P.M. until time of service.
