Flora "Rose" of Ruddick

Muncie : Flora “Rose” Ruddick passed away on Sunday January 3, 2021 at Signature Health Care in Muncie. Flora was born in Muncie on Thursday May 13, 1937 to Ruby Conley attending school at Muncie Central Schools. Flora had worked for the Delaware County Juvenile Department in the kitchen retiring in 1997 after 20 years of service. She was a great cook and enjoyed feeding her family well. You could find her doing embroidery or reading until her health kept her from doing so.

Surviving Flora are sons, James (Julie) Ruddick Jr., Terry (Glenda) Ruddick, daughters, Marie (Ninion) Gibson, Cindy Cooper; 10 grandchildren and many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Flora’s parents, and son Larry Ruddick preceded her in passing.

Funeral services will be held at Parson Mortuary and Cremation Center at 12:00 pm on Saturday January 9, 2021 with pastor Jerry Young officiating. Friends and family may call at Parson from 11:00 am until the time of the service. Private family burial will be at Elm Ridge Cemetery later.
