Gary Steven (Steve) King passed on November 7, 2024, after an extended illness. Steve was born on October 4, 1950, to Robert E. King and Joyce Helms. Steve resided for several years in the western U.S., including Arizona, Nevada, and California. After returning to Muncie, he was Finance Manager at auto dealerships in the area. He enjoyed socializing with family and friends, listening to blues music, and beating everyone at pool and darts.

Surviving to grieve his loss are daughters; Kristy Hood (Dewayne) and Stefanie King, grandsons; Justin Mertz and Collin Pollich; sister, Karen Rench; brothers, Kris King, John Isbell (Janice), David King and Mike Sterling; best friend and bonus son, Andrew Torres.

Steve was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Robert E. King, Jr.

The family would like to thank Heart-to-Heart Hospice, especially April and Kelsey who cared for him with dignity and respect in his final weeks. At his request, there will be no services and donations may be made to the charity of choice.
