Georganna Lynn Swabb Obituary

Georganna Lynn Swabb passed away in Winchester, Indiana, at the age of 71, surrounded by her loving family on December 5, 2025.  She was born on July 26, 1954, in Greenville, Ohio, the daughter of Waldo Sr. and Lulu (Baird) Swabb.

Following school, Georganna worked for thirty-nine years at Body Company/Workhorse until its closing.  She then worked for and retired from Whirlpool.

She loved the simple things in life, like taking walks and spending time with her family.  She was a devoted mother and grandmother, always attending both her children’s and grandchildren’s sporting events and other activities.  In addition, she was a faithful giver to charities supporting veterans of Vietnam and services for children with disabilities.

Georganna is survived by her three children, Bridget Ashley (Chad), Rodney Swabb (Debbie Baker), and Debra Swabb, sister, Deborah Melton (Winchester), and stepsisters Marcia Jester (Art), and Marla Davis (Walter).  In addition, she leaves behind her grandchildren, Natika Goins, Joshua Roosa, Cole Greer (Kalina), Amber Scott, Brayden Swabb, Blake Swabb, Alivia Swabb, Alissa Swabb, Johnta Hill, Davon Hill, Amarii Hill, and Tremaine Sandford, and great-grandchildren, Ryker Goins, Camden Goins, Tessa Goins, Alynn Roosa, Emma Roosa, and Atayvion Hernandez-Hill.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Charles “Butch” Swabb and Waldo Swabb Jr.

Georganna will be cremated with a celebration of life at a later date.  For those wishing to send flowers or memorials, please direct them to Parson Mortuary, and they will be given to the family.
