Heather S. (Parks) Parks

Heather S. Parks, 43, passed away Monday evening, October 4, 2021 at her sister’s residence following a brief illness.  She was born on, September 4, 1978, in Muncie the daughter of Gregory Allen Parks and Brenda (Newcomer) Parks-Laudermilt.

Heather has been disabled for most of her life.  She enjoyed the animation of Lelo & Stitch, Baby Yoda and animals; especially dogs.  She treasured the times she could spend with her pet Pit Bull Dog, Baby Girl.

Survivors include her children, Jamie, Brian, Katelynn, Kylie, Kilynn, Jimmy, Jr. and Alexis; her companion of over 20 years, Jimmy Phillips, Sr., Muncie; her mother, Brenda Laudermilt, Muncie; two sisters, Shannon Denise Sailors (Dean) and Melissa Dawn Dakins (Dustin), all of Muncie; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father, Gregory Parks; maternal grandparents, Eleanor and Richard Newcomer and her paternal grandparents, Barbara and Robert Parks.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 15, 2021, 1:00 P.M. at Parson Mortuary with Pastors Rick and Mary Duke officiating.  Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery north of Muncie.

Friends may call at Parson Mortuary from 12:00 P.M. until time of the service.
