Helen E Choate passed away at 93 years old on Thursday, December 14th, 2023, at her residence in Muncie, Indiana.

Helen was born on February 2, 1930, in Jamestown, Tennessee to Wille and Bessie Franklin and married Paul T Choate in Georgia. Helen had various jobs such as working at the Roberts Hotel, Muncie Carpet and Color Tile, and The Hampton Inn. Helen was a member of the Meeker Avenue Church of Christ. Helen loved Dolly Parton, going to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge TN, watching Andy Griffith, and I Love Lucy, eating at McDonald’s Fish Filets, and drinking coffee.

Helen is survived by her daughter Patsy Amos (husband Mike), grandchildren Jennifer Amos, and Jeremy Amos (wife Hollie) her great-grandchildren Sierra Stigall, Kerrigan Amos (fiancé Doug Sorrell), Seleste Musick, Gavin Musick, Alec Upchurch, Kailee Amos (Devin Bookout). Great great-grandchildren Urban Hesser, and Greyson Williams. Great-great Grand doggy Nyia Sorrell. Friend, Tira Amos.

Helen is preceded in death by her parents Willie and Bessie Franklin, her siblings Kenneth, OW, Bill, and her sister Ruth. Her husband Paul Choate. Her dog Rosco.

Funeral services will be on Tuesday December 19, 2023, at noon Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m., and burial at Elm Ridge Cemetery will follow immediately after the service.
