Hershell Wayne Ferrell Jr.

Hershell Wayne Ferrell, 55, of Muncie, Indiana, passed away on March 24, 2026, surrounded by loved ones.

He was born February 7, 1971, in Muncie, Indiana, to Hershell and Ruth (Lancaster) Ferrell. 

Hershell found his greatest joy in his family, especially his grandchildren, who were always at the top of his list. He loved staying active, riding bikes, and fishing. Known for his fun-loving spirit, he enjoyed spending time with his friends, playing poker, and making lasting memories. Above all, Hershell was a devoted family man, a loyal friend, and someone who truly cherished the people in his life.

He is survived by his wife of 22 years, April Ferrell; his children, Bethany Hunt, Christopher Wolfe, and Kyle Wolfe (Alexis); and his cherished grandchildren, Johnathon, Christian, Kyzor, Kaven, Kathryn, Silas, Corbin, Paityn, Kinsley, Hayven, KJ, and Harper Lynn. He is also survived by his sisters, Teresa Rogers (Gerald), and Connie Thomas (Tom), along with several nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hershell and Ruth Ferrell, and his siblings, Tammy Foster and Sunshine Young. 

Hershell will be deeply missed and forever remembered for his love, laughter, and dedication to his family.
