Hubert Wayne Bicknell

Hubert W. “Butch” Bicknell, Sr., 74, passed away Friday morning July 17, 2020 at the Indiana University Health Ball Memorial Hospital following a brief illness.  He was born on June 29, 1946, in Muncie the son of William and Teresa (Cavanaugh) Bicknell.

Hubert attended Muncie Community Schools and later married the love of his life Carolyn (Oliver) Bicknell on October 14, 1967 in Muncie and she survives.

Besides his wife of 52 years, Carolyn, he is survived by1 daughter, Melissa Foster (former spouse, Tim), Muncie; 1 son, Hubert W. “Butch” Bicknell, Jr., (Kalli), Muncie; 4 grandchildren, Katlynn, Michael, Timothy and Allison; 1 brother, Bobby Bicknell (Collen), Redkey; several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by 1 son, Chad Bicknell; his parents and 3 siblings.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2020, 1:00 P.M. at Parson Mortuary with Pastor John Foster officiating.  Burial will follow at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery north of Muncie.

Friends may call at the Parson Mortuary on Saturday, July 25, 2020 from 12:00 P.M. until time of the service.
