Jim Massie peacefully passed away at home with his loving family taking care of him.
Jim was born March 1, 1943, to Edith and Clarence Massie who preceded him in death. As well as his two sons Tommy (TJ) and James (Rod) Massie.
Jim was a master of many titles, loving husband, father, brother, and a godly man. Everything he has done in life he did with love, perfection, and kindness. Everyone who knew him knows this is who he was.
A graduate of Central High School, he was a member of Glad Tidings church for 23 years. He retired from BorgWarner and worked many years for Attlin Construction. He also had a degree in HVAC. He was very proud of his four years served in the Navy, and the 50 years he served as a 32nd degree, Mason. He was always proud of his family and we were very proud of the man he was.
He leaves behind his wife of 56 years Shari, his daughter Lynn Peters, granddaughter Shantel (James) Gibson, and his precious great-granddaughter Auziah Billiter. Sisters; Bev (Leon) Garrett, Judy (Jerry) Barnes, brothers; Dan Massie, Larry (Karen) Massie, Ron (Connie) Massie, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and close family friends.
He will be met in Heaven by his two sons; TJ and Rod to show him all of the good fishing spots. A special thank you to our Hospice help!
