James B. Moore

February 18, 1982 ~ January 4, 2022 (age 39)


James B. Moore, 39, passed away Tuesday morning, January 4, 2022, at the Indiana University Health Ball Memorial Hospital following a brief illness.  He was born on February 18, 1982 in Muncie the son of Bryan and Teja (Wallace) Moore.

James graduated from Muncie Southside High School in 2000 where he was part of the 1999 Sectional Football Team.  His friends called him “Farley.”  He enjoyed automotive racing as well.  James worked for Brooklawn Corporation as a Tree and Shrub Specialist.

He is survived by his parents, Bryan and Teja Moore; one brother Jacob Moore (Kelsey), Muncie; one sister, Amanda Green (Kris), Dunkirk; two nieces, Karmen and Kennedy Green, Dunkirk; maternal step-grandfather, Gene Smith, Muncie; Paternal step-grandmother, Jewell L. Moore, Muncie; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Robert D. Wallace and Mary Smith; his paternal grandparents, Charles Moore and Betty J. Richardson.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday evening, January 9, 2022, at 6:00 P.M.  at Parson Mortuary with Pastor Rusty Clements officiating.   Cremation will follow.

Friends may call at Parson Mortuary on Sunday evening, January 9, 2022, from 3:00 P.M. until time of the service at 6:00 P.M.
