James R Parks

James Parks passed away Wednesday June 9, 2021 at I. U. Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie. James was born to Bernice Massie and Raymond Parks on December 7, 1938 in Muncie Indiana. he worked at Delaware Machine for several years. James was an athlete playing softball well into his fifties and golfing whenever he could. He loved spending time with family especially his grandchildren.

Surviving James are sons, James Parks, Johnny Parks, Rick Waters; daughters, Jama Beaty, Shelly Baker; 15 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren; brother Revel “Tink” Massie and many other extended family members.

His wife, Mary D. Parks; sister, Etta Stacey; father, Raymond Parks and mother, Bernice Golf Massie preceded him in passing.

Graveside services will be held at Mt Tabor Cemetery, 10425 South County Road 300 W. Muncie Indiana on Tuesday June 15, 2021 at 12:00 pm with Pastor Ann Chambers officiating.
