James (Dale) Duncan, loving husband, son, brother, and uncle to many, passed away peacefully at home with his loving wife Connie of 25 years and fur babies by his side. Dale was 64 years old and had battled cancer for two years. 
Dale was born on June 8, 1960, in Muncie, IN, to William and Margaret (Zearbaugh) Duncan. Dale graduated from Northside High School and went on to become an accomplished machinist, mechanic, and construction worker. 

Dale was employed by Chuck’s Construction Company, where he spent the last 10 years remodeling many beautiful homes. He could also be counted on to help family and friends with their remodeling projects. When not working, Dale could be found enjoying various outdoor activities, golfing, bike riding, canoeing, and walking his dogs. He also enjoyed bowling on a mixed trio league with his wife and friends. 

Dale is survived by his wife, Connie Duncan, his mother Margaret Brubaker (Lee), brothers and sisters-in-laws; Dean Duncan (Lori), Rick Duncan (Terri), Kent Duncan (Tara), Alex Duncan (Yady), Mark Duncan (Shelby),Step-brother; Ken Brubaker (Kate), brother-in-laws; Kevin (Georgia), Epperson, and Marshall Eller, many nieces and nephews. Dale will also be missed by many special friends, including Chuck and Monty Brooks, whom he thought of as brothers. 

He is preceded in death by his father, Aunt Janice, father and mother-in-law; Albert (Barbara) Eller, sister-in-laws; Jana Duncan and Tommi Eller, brother-in-law Donnie Eller, and niece Natalie Duncan. 

Dale was led to the Lord by Pastor Del Stiles, who will be officiating his memorial service on May 10, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. Service will be held at Good News Baptist Church on 101 E 22nd St., Muncie, IN 47302.
