Janice K. (McCreery) Mousty passed away on December 3, 2024. She was born April 29, 1940, to Raymond and Eileen McCreery and grew up in Gaston. 

She attended Harrison Township School. Janice was a member of Christian Assembly Church in Peoria, IL, where she worked in the hospital ministry and later became a counselor for CBN.  In 1982 she moved to St. Charles, MO, Mrs. Mousty was the founder and president of the Believers Connection Ministries for over ten years. She was also a member of Full Gospel Temple in Muncie where she resided. 

Surviving Janice are two brothers; Michael E McCreery of Gaston and Danny R. McCreery of Viera, FL., Two grandsons; Danny (Shelly) of Tennessee and Jamie Shaw (Raquel) of Indiana, Two nephews; Rex and Greg Propes, and five great-grandchildren. 

Preceding Janice is her husband Melvin D. Mousty, daughter Penny Jo, sister Raleen Huston and husband Ray, and nephew Dale Propes. 

Services will be held at Parson Mortuary on Monday, December 9, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. service time. Burial will follow at Thompson Cemetery.
