Janice Kaye Ross, 88, of Muncie, Indiana, passed away on March 4, 2026, at The Woodlands Nursing Home in Muncie. She was born on December 2, 1937, in Muncie, Indiana, to Paul and Beatrice (Huffman) Metzcar.
Janice was the sweetest person with the largest heart. She loved watching basketball, especially IU and the Pacers. She enjoyed collecting everything, hosting family and friends in her home, and spending time with her loved ones. Janice loved going to church, was devoted to her faith, and enjoyed singing in the churches she attended.
Janice is survived by her children: Kay Miller (Mike) and Kim Antrim (Mark); her grandchildren: Stephanie Oshier (Lee), Joe Ross, Cody Antrim (Miranda), Nathan Reed (Konnor), Victor Trussell, and Crystal McGriff; 19 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and nieces and nephew; Sheryl Mahoney, Arlene Murphy, Tammy Hendrickson, and Mike Metzcar.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Ross; her parents; her son, Kent Ross; son-in-laws; Mike Miller and Mark Antrim and her brother, Malcolm Metzcar.
Funeral services will be held at Parson Mortuary on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at 12:00 PM. Friends may call on the family from 11:00 AM the day of the service or on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, from 5:00–8:00 p.m.
