Jasmine Nicole Hatfield 30 yrs old, passed away from a sudden illness on September 12, 2024. She was born September 9, 1994, the daughter of Melinda Hatfield and Dentric (Deak) Vance.
Jasmine was born and raised in Muncie, Indiana. She graduated from Central High School, class of 2013. Her favorite color was purple, she would say “because I am a Bearcat, you know!” This was a jab to her big sister, Karistan, who was a Rebel.
Jasmine was a homebody, and lived at home with her grandmother, until her passing. Her favorite activities were playing her PlayStation(s), dance, shopping, or watching her favorite movies. She loved to laugh and liked her space. Jasmine was feisty, which she got from her grandmother, Connie, and her mother, Melinda, but she was also mellow, a trait she got from her big sister. She was well loved and spoiled (rotten) till the end. Her crazy style and her sweet smile will forever be missed. She was our baby girl. Gone, but never forgotten. RIP Jasmine “Nicole.”
She is survived by her mother, Melinda Hatfield, father, Dentric (Deak) Vance, sisters, Karistan Rochelle, Adrienne Vance, Daijha Vance, brothers, Dentric and DeonTre’ Vance, grandmother, Connie Johnson, and many other family members.
She was preceded in death by her grandpa, William E. Johnson, granddaddy Eddie Vance Sr., and grandma, Lillie Williams.
Visitation will be Tuesday, September 24, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, at Parson Mortuary, 801 W. Adams, Muncie, Indiana, followed by a graveside service at Beech Grove Cemetery.
