Jeffery L.T. Minnick, Jr.

Jeffery L. T.  Minnick, Jr., 32, passed away Saturday afternoon, September 12, 2022 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.   He was born on October 30, 1989 in Muncie the son of Mike and Kim Brown.

Jeffery graduated from Southside High School in 2007 and later worked for the Indiana Laborer’s Union Local #1112 as an Asphalt Paver.  Most recently, he was working for Reith-Riley Paving as his working assignment. He enjoyed camping, boating riding his motor cycle and trucks.   Mr. Minnick enjoyed spending time with this family members and friends.  Jeffery especially treasured his time with his son Gabriel.  Mr. Minnick was a organ donor who saved 5 different lives all at the same time which is a very rare feat in and of itself but, a very heroic one.

He is survived by his son, Gabriel Minnick; parents, Mike and Kim Brown, Muncie; four sisters, Meranda Minnick, Cheri Minnick, Kimberly Brown (Sebastian Webb) and Stephanie Brown (Keith Burnette), all of Muncie; one brother, Dustin Minnick, Muncie; former fiancé’, Stacia Reese, Muncie; maternal grandmother, Pam Harris (Kerry), Muncie; step grandmother, Lynn Bender, Muncie; several aunts uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jeffery Minnick, Sr.; maternal grandfather, Thomas Bender; his paternal grandparents, George Minnick, Sr. and Sherlynn Reed and his cousin, Storm Smith.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 20 ,2022, at 1:00 P.M.  at Parson Mortuary with Pastor Rick Bowen officiating.  Burial will follow at Tomlinson Cemetery. 

Friends may call at Parson Mortuary on Tuesday, September 20, 2022, from 11:00 A.M. until time of service at 1:00 P.M.
