Jerry Dean Hendershot, 62, passed away peacefully at his Muncie residence on November 06, 2025. Jerry was born on April 30, 2025, the son of Daniel and Carol (Lehman) Hendershot.
Following graduation from Muncie Central High School, Jerry spent most of his adult life working as a carpenter, most recently for Dave Hendershot Construction. He enjoyed playing games on his phone and shooting pool.
He is survived by his siblings, Nicki Falkenstein, Debbie Hendershot, Tami Hendershot-Winningham, and Alvin Gregory. In addition, he leaves behind his very special cousins, Judy Lehman and Dave Hendershot.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Carol, as well as his grandparents, Leroy and Pearl Lehman, and Daniel and Mary Hendershot.
Per his wishes, Jerry will be cremated, and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
