Jimmie Nile Burris, 62, passed away at his Muncie home on June 1, 2025.  He was born on July 10, 1962, to Wesley and Betty Burris.

Jimmie lived in Muncie, Indiana, most of his life.  He spent his adult years as an asphalt worker for various companies in the area.  He loved to go fishing and to play pool.  He was with the love of his life, Lisa Hartman, for seventeen years.

He leaves behind Lisa Hartman, brothers, Steve Burris, Dave Burris, Robbie Burris (Phyllis), Eddie Burris, and Clifford Burris; two sisters, Pam (Burris) Walker, and Stacy (Burris) Bradshaw (Jimmy), and a step-sister, Betty Jo Whited.  He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, and one sister.

A Celebration of Life will be held on June 21, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Heekin Park Cabin #5.
