Jimmie Dale Leedy Obituary

Jimmie Dale Leedy, 63, left this life early Saturday morning at his residence in Mooreland following a brief illness.  He was born on February 27 1961 in Muncie the son of Robert Wayne and Shirley N. (Snodgrass) Leedy.


Jimmie graduated from Wappahani High School in 1980 and later worked for the NFO (National Farmers Organization) which graded stock and gave administration advice to farmers.  He also worked for the Muncie Star as a delivery carrier. 


Survivors include four children, Michele Leedy (Ben Skeen), Mooreland, Lance Sanchez (Nicole), Greenfield, Katie Hirst (Justin), Winchester and Kricket Leedy (Aaron Brown), Fairport, New York; two grandchildren, Grace Brown and Everett Boyette; one brother, Robert Leedy (Cindy), Georgia; former spouse, Cristela Leedy, Mooreland; several nieces and nephews.


He was preceded in death by his parents.


Cremation is being done.  Parson Mortuary Cremation Center is entrusted with these arrangements.


The family will be gathering at the AMVETS Post#12 7621 IN-3 N. 47303 on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at 3:00 P.M. with a celebration of his life at 4:30 P.M.


Memorial contributions may be made to Juvenile Diabetes Association, Breakthrough T1D, 200 Vesey St., 28th Floor New York, New York 10281.
