Jimmie "possum" Tiller

Jimmie “Possum” Tiller, 54, passed away May 25, 2020. He was born in Winchester, Indiana to Jimmy and Ruby (Ganger) Tiller. He attended Alexandria Schools and had worked as a machine operator for Reliance for a number of years. He enjoyed landscaping, was an avid karaoke singer and a diehard Steelers fan, but above all he loved his family and his grandkids.

Jimmie is survived by his wife, Awona Tiller; Sons, Jimmie (Fiance, Brenda) Tiller and Matthew Tiller; Daughters, Angel Tiller and Virginia “Annie” (Jason) Griffis; Brother, Joseph (Patricia “Elaine”) Tiller; Grandchildren, Achaia, Averi, Dominick, Ryan, Gracie, Aiden and Charlie.

He is preceded in death by his father, Jimmy.

Visitation for Jimmie will be held at Parson Mortuary, Tuesday, June 2nd, from 11 a.m. to 1p.m. with a service following at 1 p.m. Attendants are asked to dress casually and respect social distancing acknowledgements.
