Veronica Joan Davis, 96, of Muncie, Indiana, passed away peacefully on July 23, 2025, at Westminster Village in Muncie. She was born on May 17, 1929, in Zanesville, Ohio, to Willard and Catherine (Tucker) Davis.

She was a longtime member of St. Mary Parish in Muncie and a covenant member in the People of Praise Community. Joan lived a rich life filled with deep faith, strong family bonds, and joyful friendships.

She had a passion for travel. An avid reader and enthusiastic card player, Joan most cherished time spent with her nieces and nephews. She was deeply committed to her family and friendships, always nurturing those connections with care and joy.

Joan retired from Maxon Corporation in Muncie, where she worked in clerical administration. She was known for her exceptional work ethic and dedication.

She is survived by several beloved nieces and nephews, who will remember her unwavering love.

Joan was preceded in death by her parents, Willard and Catherine Davis, as well as her five brothers and two sisters.

The family will receive friends at St. Mary Parish in Muncie on August 4, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will begin at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Mt. Olive Cemetery in Zanesville, Ohio, with a graveside memorial service. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. Mary's Church, 2300 W Jackson St., 47303.
