John “Gotti” Jesse Springman, was tragically taken from those who loved him on September 10, 2024, at the age of 31.  John was born on October 24, 1992, the son of Larry T. and Carol (Springman) Jones. 

John attended Muncie schools including Northview, Northside and Muncie Central.  Following high school, John worked in the construction field most of his adult life.  John enjoyed playing video games and drawing.  When asked to describe John, his family immediately answered that he had a love for helping people, had a huge heart, and cared about everybody.  He loved spending time with his family, even those who were not “blood relation,” he considered his friends his family as well.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his mother Carol Jones; brother, Donald Jones; aunts, Margie, Linda, and bonus aunt, Vicky Spears; uncles, Ralph (Kristina), Keith (Diane); honorary family, Eric Miller, Ashley Gilbert, nephews and nieces Lacey, and Aleasia Miller, Aleah, Izaak, and Izayah Miller, Chris Miller, Evan Miller, Robert Gilbert (Teresa), Robert Gilbert Jr., Erick and Sarah De la Torre, Erick Jr., Carlos, and Mariana De la Torre, Leslie and Kristen Childers and family; and Jesicca Atkins, Sophia, Andrew, and Grayson "Stinky" Atkins, and Aiden Markham.

John was preceded in death by his father Larry T. Jones and his grandpa John and grandma Nancy, as well as Ryan Landers, and Isaiah Sneed.

Funeral services will be held at Parson Mortuary, 801 W. Adams, Muncie, on Tuesday September 17, 2024 at 7:00 PM.  Friends may call on the family from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM.  Pastor Kyle Holt will officiate.
