Jolene Watters, 73, of Muncie, passed away peacefully on February 17, 2026, at Cardinal Care Strategies. She was born on February 20, 1952, in Haleyville to Ed and A.V. (Riddle) Harry.
Jolene was a vibrant and loving soul who truly lived each day as if it were a special gift. She had a deep love for animals and was a passionate advocate for their care and well-being. Jolene and her beloved husband proudly owned and operated a fish store in Marion, a place that reflected her joy and dedication.
She enjoyed playing bingo and was known for her bright spirit and contagious energy. Jolene loved people wholeheartedly and never hesitated to show it. She had a beautiful balance of warmth and fierceness, a bright light who could stand strong when needed. She previously worked at Chateau Nursing Home, now known as The Waters of Muncie, where she cared deeply for those she served.
Jolene is survived by her son, Jeffrey Harry (Michele); grandchildren, Audrieanna Bradley (Casey), Clayton Harry, and Stefan Harry; great-grandchildren, Jackson Bradley, Haidyn Bradley, and Devlin Harry, along with several nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband of 12 years, Charles Watters; and her siblings, Eddie Jean Phillips, Jim Harry, Rita Cheatham, and Roger Harry.
Jolene will be remembered for her boundless love, her spirited personality, and the light she brought into the lives of all who knew her. Jolene took very good care of her hair and to send even more love to others, she donated her hair to Locks of Love as one final gift.
Memorial Services will be held at Parson Mortuary on Monday, February 23, 2026, from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m.
