Obituary

Jon D. White, 57, passed away Tuesday, January 5, 2021, following an extended illness.  He was born on August 17, 1963 in Muncie the son of Carl William and Thelma Pearl (Willard) White.

Jon is a 1982 graduate of Northside High School and later and attended Ball State University for a short time.  Mr. White had worked for Arrowhead Plastics for 30 + years as a Customer Service Technician prior to his disability.  He was a member of the Ducktail Run Car Club and enjoyed participating in their various events.  Big Jon as he was known especially loved being a Dad and spending time with his children.

Survivors include his twins, Jonathon and Bayley White, both of Gas City; one sister, Cathy Estep (Ted), Muncie; two nephews, Jason Ramey (Kortney), Richmond, Jason Estep, Muncie; two nieces, Jacque Estep, Whiteland and Jessica Bilbrey, Greenfield; his former spouse, Mary Strahan, Gas City; several great nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2021, 4:00 P.M. at the Parson Mortuary with Pastor Bill Hardwick officiating.

Friends may call at the Parson Mortuary on Saturday, January 9, 2021 from 3:00 P.M. until time of service.

Memorial contributions may be made to the children, Jonathon and Bayley, for future college education
