Joshua W. Grayson, 36, passed away at IU Ball Memorial Hospital on July 14, 2025.  Joshua was born in Muncie, Indiana, on July 4, 1989, the son of Ed Grayson and Debra Flynn.

Josh attended local schools and worked at various jobs in the Muncie area.  Josh was known for his unique sense of humor and his ability to make people laugh.  He had a deep love for his family, especially his daughter Payton.

He is survived by his daughter, Payton Grayson; her mother Shelby sparks; father, Ed Grayson (Terrie); uncle Cleveland; uncle Steve; sister Shannon Fields; niece Meagan, and nephews Seth and Caleb; great nieces Emma and Addy, and great nephew Jameson; brother Shawn Grayson (Shelly); nieces Breanna (Alex), Alaia, and Allana; great niece Avery, and great nephew Addison; Fiancé Mindy Cox; step children Emilie and Elizabeth.  In addition, he leaves behind many other family members, including his uncle Joe (Tammy), his uncle Dale (Deneia), and his cousins. 

Josh was preceded in death by his mother, Debra Flynn; brother, Robbie Flynn; and sister, Cheyenne Flynn; grandparents, Roberta Grayson, Bob and Carolyn Trego; and an aunt, Kaye Grayson, and uncle, Billie Grayson (Debbie).

There will be no services.  The family will hold a Celebration of Life at a later date.  Burial will take place at Beech Grove Cemetery.
