Judith Joy (Houston) Thomas

Judith Joy Thomas, 85, of Muncie, IN, passed away on May 1, 2023, at her residence. She was born in Lafayette, Indiana on December 12, 1937, to Faye and Lulu (Demerott) Houston. Judith married Bruce Thomas on January 29, 1966, and he preceded her in death on January 6, 2022.
Judith is survived by her children, Sean Thomas (Regina), Brent Thomas (Michele Bozymski), Annette Thomas (David Bernard), Jennifer Thomas (Joe Elliott), Rebecca Thomas (Beth Larsen), Amanda Champion (Chad), Bruce Thomas, Steve Thomas, and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce Thomas, her parents, Faye and Lulu (Demerott) Houston, brother, Jerrold Houston, sister, Joanne Houston, grandson,  Nikalas Roach, and granddaughter, Lori Curry.
Judith loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, quilting, sewing, and baking. She volunteered for Footprints sewing, knitting, and crocheting a variety of items to donate to charitable organizations.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 10, 2023, at 1:00 PM at Parson Mortuary located at 801 West Adams Street, Muncie, Indiana. The family will greet friends from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Immediately following the service, a meal will be served at Selma American Legion located at 315 South Albany Street, Selma, Indiana.
