Judy Phipps

Judith Ann Phipps, age 77 of Muncie passed away Monday evening May 23, 2022, at Water's Edge Village in Muncie following an extended illness. She was born November 23, 1944, in Muncie and was the daughter of the late Eber Bryant and Wahnetta (York) Dixon.

A homemaker most of her life, she also was a self-employed worker in child care.

She is survived by two grandsons; Tyler and Travis Bryant, one great-grandson; Brodie Bryant all of Muncie, two sisters; Alfretta (Dick) Ellis of Yorktown, and Sue Jones of Orleans, IN., and two brothers; Fred Dixson of Portland, IN, and Larry Dixon of Arizona.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Lyle Phipps in 2005, a son; Scottie Bryant, one sister; Phyllis Landers, and seven brothers; Paul Bryant, Harold Kirby, Gordon Kirby, Lowell Haskins, Ed, Jim, and Rick Dixson.

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 27, 2022 at 1:00 P.M at Parson Mortuary and Cremation Center with Pastor James Sandberg officiating. Burial will follow at Elm Ridge Cemetery in Muncie, friends may call on Friday from 11:00 A.M. until service time.
